    Yes, there are some who are trying to politicize this tragedy, and he is one of them.

    As for those not agreeing with his extremist perspective not caring about human life…funny, it looks like those who don’t care about human life actually are those who agree with him.



    And of course there would be more demands for a theocracy, from the odious Bryan Fischer.

    I was raised in the Islamic world. By accident of history, the plague that is entanglement of religion and government affects most Muslim majority nations a lot worse the many Christian majority (or post-Christian majority) nations. Hence, I am quite familiar with this plague. I started doubting the faith I was raised in during my teen years. After becoming familiar with the works of enlightenment philosophers, I identified myself as a deist. But it was not until a long time later, after I learned about evolutionary science, that I came to identify myself as an atheist. And only then, I came to know the religious right in the US.       Doesn’t surprise me when tragedy happens the theocratic nuts always have to insert their imaginary friend as the reason for gun violence and not lack of gun control.

      What is it with Merkins and this idea that they need weapons in case their government goes all dictatorial. In the extremely unlikely event that this happens, vote the bastards out, and if they don’t go, then the military is surely bound to give them the boot. I don’t really see how a citizenry armed with assault rifles is a good idea in times of political turmoil. I can guarantee that those weapons are not all going to be aimed in the same direction.
