Christian Post: “Atheist Pleads Freedom of Speech Violations After Rejected Bus Ad”

Stoyan Zaimov, a writer for the Christian Post, has authored an article regarding — as the title implies (and readers of this blog would rightly assume) — the recent controversy surrounding the County of Lackawanna Transit System’s (COLTS) refusal of the “Atheists.” bus ad. Read the article here.

Interestingly enough, COLTS’ solicitor has gone on the record claiming this advertisement — an innocuous content-free message — is attacking religion. I wonder how the solicitor arrived at this conclusion. Zaimov writes,

Hinton, however, repeated: “We don’t accept ads promoting any certain religion or religion in general, so we don’t want to accept an ad attacking religion.”
