• With kind thanks.

As you likely know, John Loftus has left the network and will continue his writing at the original Debunking Christianity. This week Skeptic Ink bids him a fond farewell and you will see many writers share their thoughts.

Although it feels like much longer, Skeptic Ink was really John’s notion just over a year ago. It seemed to us that there was an empty niche for a website where skeptics might find community without purity tests and signing statements. Where content wasn’t sacrificed for politics, and folks could freely express themselves. We’ve not always gotten it right, but those were our ideals and what we still aim at.

John worked very hard at it. He’s responsible for finding and recruiting just about all of my favorite writers here. I have played my part in creating and running the network, but I could not have done it without John. We are sad to see him go, but understand that his schedule and topical focus may be better served this way. We expect he will continue his good work and writing and wish him the very best.

Skeptic Ink will continue on as it has. We have plans for many great improvements and additions this year, so stay tuned.

    Farewell John!

    With kind thanks,

    Ed
