• Science and Faith… ’60s Style

I’m in the middle of a group of glorious cancerversary tests so posting has been light. This cancer stuff is a true mind f*ck… pardon my language. 🙂

I could get all Internet cheery on you, but I won’t. I don’t feel particularly cheery. The big tests are yet to come, but so far, so good. Here’s to hopefully not enjoying the Big C yet another summer, eh?

In the mean time, while I run off to another appointment, I figured I’d leave you with this. How many logistical fallacies/platitudes/stereotypes/blatant errors can you find? I’m not a science expert by any stretch of the imagination, but even I… in my current state of mind… had no problem nailing down a few. It was a rather fun exercise.

    Enjoy!

    1. Those boys need serious dental work but not the girl or parents. Wait, they’ll pray to god for a Christian dentist to do it free. Damn, that’s my problem but when I get on my knees it’s usually because I’ve had too much or looking for my shaker of salt.

      1. Ha. So true. It’s an amazing vid.

Hey… big day’s tomorrow. The oncologist will work his magic and present the “big reveal.” Sorry I’m not posting much, This past month, I’ve either been neck deep in med tests, dreading them, or working my tail off to figure out how to pay for all this. I guess a good result… knowing one way or the other… is worth it, right?

I hope all is well in Canada. You’ve finally sent us some decent weather. Thanks. 🙂

        1. So, how did everything go yesterday BethAnn? Hopefully you got some good news. I wouldn’t worry about not posting much, your health, mental and physical, is more important. Mind you, no one seems to post much or only occasionally except for one who has two or three posts a day, better to flog his books I guess.
I don’t know what to say about the weather because up here it’s been raining cats and dogs—and where did that come from—for the last three weeks. The grass is so high I’ll have to rent a combine to cut it. Last Sunday till Tuesday we had some awful thunderstorms due to a system coming up from the Gulf. At least two tornados touched down, one just north of us and we lost power a few times. Oh well, it will clear up one day, I hope. Take care.
