• The bankruptcy THEY don’t want you to know about

Or maybe it’s just him who doesn’t want you to know about it.

Kevin Trudeau, the scamster, author, and late night infomerical star is bankrupt. Odd, considering he’s the author of such best sellers (they really were best sellers) Natural Cures “They” Don’t Want You to Know About, The Weight-Loss Cure “They” Don’t Want You to Know About, Debt cures “They” Don’t Want You to Know About, and such (I’m sure you detected his book-titling pattern, eh?). His books were scant on information (big surprise) and were lengthy sales pieces for a high priced subscription website where the reader could receive the information they thought they were purchasing when they bought the book.

    The Amazon reviews are hilarious.

Quackwatch doesn’t have many nice things to say about Trudeau either.

This news is especially interesting considering his latest scheme was of the get rich quick variety. Except this time around, he’s left behind a long trail of disgruntled customers. So, he’s declaring bankruptcy.

The bankruptcy filing invokes an automatic stay pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 362(a), which precludes any creditor or any other party from initiating or continuing further legal proceedings against the Defendant.

I wonder if his customers will wise up to his tactics or if they’ll continue to throw their money in his direction. A girl can dream, I suppose. 🙁

Kevin Trudeau still has a $37 million fine over his scandalous head which he so far declined to pay. It appears that now he attempts to somehow refrain from paying this whopping (but yet, so rightful) sum or at least to diminish it by bolstering the argument he’s broke with this bankruptcy farce.

    Another fascinating situation to watch.
