• How to make holy water

Suppose you’re heading out to do some vampire hunting and need a little holy water, now there’s a DIY web page to give you all the info. you need to make some.

Many religions use holy water for cleansing, protection, and blessing. It is usually sanctified by a priest or similar position in a church and is only holy water if it is sanctified. Holy means to be sanctified, so by following the directions below you will only have salt water. If you would like to make your own salt water that you can pretend is holy water, however, here are some things you can do.

Step one: gather salt and water.

    Step two: speak a benediction.

The benediction of the salt: Speak over the salt, “The Blessing of the Father Almighty be upon this Creature of Salt, and let all malignity and hindrance be cast forth hence from, and let all good enter herein, for without Thee man cannot live, wherefore I bless thee and invoke thee, that thou mayest aid me.” –Key of Solomon the King Book II Chapter 5

    Step three: read Psalm 103.

Step four: Use distilled water (or filter water from a stream, river, or lake.) Heck, why not use tap water? Where does the author think tap water comes from?

Now, all you have to do is recite a few prayers and you’re good to go. You can thank me when you’ve repelled a vampire.
