Andrei Orlov just gave me the word that on November 1 his latest work The Greatest Mirror: Heavenly Counterparts in the Jewish Pseudopigrapha will be released. I’ve discussed Orlov’s work before on this blog, and the concept of everything on earth having a heavenly ‘twin’ or ‘copy’ is certainly a real and fascinating one in the ancient Jewish world.
