Full program for Newcastle Writers Festival

For those who are local and/or interested, the full program for the Newcastle Writers Festival is now available online. Once again, the most salient item on the program for most readers of this blog is the panel on church and state, with David Marr, Jane Caro, and myself, chaired by radio announcer Jill Emberson. I am also chairing a panel on Australian speculative fiction, with Janeen Webb, Jack Dann, and Margo Lanagan… and of course there is much on the program that looks exciting.

I’m not sure how many people based in or near Newcastle ever read this blog… but do give the writers’ festival some thought if you’re around on the weekend of 5 to 7 April.
