• In conversation with a conservative skeptic

    Awhile back, I made note of the fact that my local atheist group is overwhelmingly progressive:

    This massive ideological skew may help explain the emotional kerfuffle that ensued when American Atheists showed up at CPAC. It may also help explain why the phrase “conservative skeptic” strikes the ear as a bit off, despite the Google hits.

    My brother Chas and I did manage to find someone who openly identifies as both a conservative and a skeptic, and who (unlike us) has a rich and authoritative voice well-suited to radio.
