• Petition to censor Shakira in Colombia

In case you haven’t seen it, this is Shakira‘s new song, featuring Rihanna:

I’m not fan of Shakira’s or Rihanna’s music, I’m just embedding this because Christian Colombian councilor Marco Fidel Ramírez found it so disgusting he wants to ban it for good:

Marco Fidel Ramirez is calling on Colombia’s National Television Authority to ban the 37-year-old’s “Can’t Remember To Forget You” clip from being broadcast on any of the nation’s channels.

The Public Option party councilor, from the capital of Bogota, said the video “damages the moral character of the youth of Bogota, Colombia and Latin America.”

He dubbed Shakira, who appears alongside Bajan beauty Rihanna, as a reference point for a society in moral decay.

This particular Christian politician is quite obnoxious and a complete homophobe who has paraded himself as “the moral and family councilor” – you should know his Party was founded by paramilitaries and death squads-tied politicans and he once copy-pasted a whole bill.

    So much for morals, right?
