So, we all know the Randi challenge, which promisises a one-million-dollar prize to “anyone who can show, under proper observing conditions, evidence of any paranormal, supernatural, or occult power or event”.
Well, charlatans just got lucky!! Europe got it’s own Randi-style challenge – the Sisyphus Prize:
If you have paranormal, or impossible powers according to scientific evidence, and you prove it, the European skeptics will give you one million euros. Dubbed as Sisyphus Prize, this challenge is an initiative of the European Council of Skeptical Organisations (ECSO) and the money, donated by the Belgian Society for Critical Research of Pseudoscience and the Paranormal (Skepp), has already been deposited in a bank account of that country under the custody of a notary. Before participating in the final test, every candidate must undergo a preliminary test in any of the host countries under the supervision of an association of ECSO, which in Spain is the Skeptic Circle.
You see, now you can get a million dollars and one million euros with just one supernatural ability! What are you waiting to go and get that money?
