• An Interesting Question

So, I’m watching the election coverage and something came to mind.  The exit polls are virtually tied in many races.  I understand that they are exit polls and not totally representative of the votes, but isn’t it odd that in Florida, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, the president (and other) races are tied.

What does that say about our system?

I mean, one candidate is OK.  He’s done some previous good work and some previous not so good work.  The other clown is… well… we don’t know what he is because he keeps changing his policies.

What does that say about our country that some many people think that a lying, cheating scumbag is preferable to a black man?

What does it say about our country that we keep thinking people like Romney, Bachman, Rand, and others are not only candidates, but many have reached high political office?

Is it just me who thinks that this is utterly insane?

Why can’t we have truth in advertising, especially in politics?

I wouldn’t trust one of the candidates to sell me a car, much less run the country, how are people being bamboozled so much?

In other news, I’m going to have to clean out my facebook account.  Arguing with my friend about the GMOs and some other statements being said are just too much.  My blood pressure gets too high dealing with these people.  I’ve never met them in real life and I don’t think we could get along anymore.  I can’t abide dealing with people who can’t see the obvious when it’s right in front of them.

For example, a law to product the people that is only applied to one type of store, is not a law to protect the people.

Anyway, I’m rambling… good luck to the realists in the election.  We need people who at least pretend to care for the middle class.
