Muslim Patrol in London

Courtesy of the RDF facebook page:

Notice the smarmy comments about “Islamophobia” by the East London Mosque.  Just read  for yourself what comes out of this Mosque.  And also note the smarmy insistence on what the “white” population does.  Well, excuse me, but some of the worst Islamic whackos out there are white converts, and many brown skinned Christians, Hindus and Sikhs, not to mention atheists and Muslim apostates, are unhappyabout this sort of thing.

Remember when I wrote about the kind of religious right we have over here?

Meanwhile German kids are getting beaten up for being Atheists or Christians:

While I think this kind of extremism needs to be nipped in the bud by whatever police action is necessary, I don’t think it’s out of line to look at underlying factors, including “white flight”. One of the reasons Muslim extremism is so much more on the rise in Europe than it is in the US or Canada is because there’s much less integration in Europe. In many cases, foreigners born in those countries, sometimes who’s families have been there for several generations, cannot get citizenship and are consigned to a permanent underclass. Treating people as outsiders encourages behavior as outsiders. The kind of ghettoizing “multiculturalism” some European countries are adopting is merely the flipside of this.

Countries with strong histories of immigration and assimilation, like the US, Canada, and Australia I think deal with this much better. Immigrant groups tend to hold onto what’s good and discard oppressive old traditions. Europe could learn something from this approach.

I agree it might a European phenomenon due to perhaps bad policies. In Canada Pierre Trudeau was a big proponent of multiculturism as we call it. And, for the most part it works there are no enclaves or ghetto’s of Muslims, Caribbean’s, Hindus or whatever in our major city’s. I live in Barrie a city north of Toronto and we have a large Muslim population with two mosques but I couldn’t tell you where they
live. Their part of what makes a community a community. Canadian’s by nature
      are tolerant.
