Koran ripping trial dismissed

    Damn! You can be brought to trial in the UK for ripping up a religious book?

    I suppose you could be tried here in the USA for inciting a riot, but the case against you would not be based on defamation per se. Hurray for freedom of speech.

    Well, it is good that cooler heads have prevailed.
