• I call enemies of abortion anti-woman activisits because…THEY ARE

    “Pro-life”? How about Savita’s life?

When I wrote a recent post on abortion, I was accused in the comments of hyperbole, for calling the “pro-life” camp anti-woman activists.

Unfortunately, as it happens, I was right. Case in point: the woman who died recently in Ireland, after being denied an abortion. Because, of course, Ireland is a catholic nation, and church doctrines trump human life, even if sold, ironically, as “pro-life”.

In a related development, researchers concluded that denying women access to abortion also increases subsequent risk of falling into poverty (shocker!).

So yes, they are anti-woman activists, in more ways than one. The truth hurts.
