I’m always amazed at how, when people don’t comprehend (or even read) a proper history text, they create convoluted narratives to somehow make sense of something they haven’t taken time to understand. To make matters worse, people seem willing to believe anything… sans fact checking… especially if it’s clearly bad fiction. Sigh.
