• From Around the Web (and Youtube!)

    Some good counterapologetics on youtube:

Scott Clifton gave a great speech at Reasonfest. Be sure and check out the other videos posted by Hambone!

KnownNoMore also made a great video on the Kalam, and once again, his other videos merit a look as well.

Chris Hallquist once again brings very heady philosophy down to a common-sense level, and does so on an issue that has all-too-often baffled otherwise critical thinkers: Negatives Aren’t Special.

AmazingAtheist made a hilarious video about a certain viral youtuber who attempted to disprove evolution.

    Other stuff:

‘Plus size’ model gets props for posting unaltered photo of herself. I think she’s hot. Don’t know why some women have an obsession with skinniness, I think most guys (and I count myself among them) find non-zero size women attractive.

I have to give a shout-out to VRidar. His blog exercises just the kind of skepticism New Testament scholars ought to (but typically don’t) have about their field.

Interesting paper: “The Messianic Scapegoat in the Apocalypse of Abraham.” Also see the excerpt from a different paper on “Azazel as the Celestial Scapegoat.” The author, Andrei Orlov, is a very accomplished scholar and many of his other papers strike me as being pregnant with implications for early Christianity.
