I have a facebook page dedicated to one cause and one cause only: get Richard Carrier on the Colbert Report. Richard Carrier is a historian publishing a book arguing that Jesus was a mythical figure. It will be published through Sheffield-Phoenix Press, probably within the next few months, and will break ground as the first professional, scholarly book dedicated to arguing this case. It will no doubt make a wave in scholarly debates, and I predict it will be the most eyeopening history book of the year.
