• Discussion on God and Physics, and more

Sean Carroll and William Lane Craig had a very illuminating debate on God and modern day cosmology / physics. For me it was a lot like watching the debate between Bart Ehrman and William Lane Craig. Craig, a man who goes around misleading people to think modern-day scholarship supports conservative Christianity, got exposed by an expert on the field they were debating. Ehrman showed Craig for what he was in the debate on the resurrection, pointing out that Craig misrepresents scholarship and just generally says things about gospel / early Christian scholarship that are highly questionable or false. Shelley Kagan, an ethical philosopher, showed how naive Craig’s viewpoints were on morality when they debated. Now, Sean Carroll has done the same thing for us on the subject of physics, and he does a masterful job pointing out problems with the kalam and fine-tuning argument. It’s a must-watch. I will probably quote this debate in my upcoming chapter on God and science.
