    Well, well, well: it seems that a former executive of CIGNA insurance has now come out in favor of national health insurance. He reveals that the rhetoric against the program (like “Death Panels”) was manufactured by the insurance companies, and has nothing to do with reality.     Just watched the documentary Manufacturing Consent about the linguist and activist Noam Chomsky. Excellent film. I’d love to see the references the movie uses, so that I can fact-check it. Still, it is a thought provoking film about one of the most fascinating individuals in academia.
