    God’s adherents have shown themselves to be increasingly irrelevant in todays world and increasingly intolerant of widely approved issues (birth control, homosexual marriage, etc).

    If anyone killed god in America, it’s his own followers.

    Disappointing – so many fantastic atheists in social media and they choose The Amazing Atheist.

     I agree. They made the atheists sound a little fanatical. And why does Caro Costello sound so surprised that there are atheists in America? She stressed the 5% figure for atheists and then added as an afterthought that 25 % said they did not have any beliefs.

    I found the report to be quite reasonable. There was no atheist bashing and the clip of the Amazing Atheist was effective in refuting the religious statements given immediately before. She didn’t say 25% have no beliefs. What she said was that 20% have no religious affiliation.

    Yes, definitely well-known. Just wishing they would’ve picked someone more moderate in tone, and less sensationalist.
