Jerry Coyne on the Odd Couple: Why Science and Religion Shouldn’t Cohabit

I like appreciate that he shows that religious people are not making unfalsifiable claims.
I remember a favorite incident where Karen Armstrong wrote book that defined god into a unfalsifiable concept and a Baptist preacher wrote a column accusing her of being an atheist.
It was a surreal experience as I had read the column without knowing its conclusion and had to reread the thing because I scarily realized, I just agreed most everything a Baptist preacher just wrote so  something must be horribly wrong. No, he was happen to be right and was showing that his rational faculties were just as good as mine when aimed in the right direction.
