• Real Life Is Distracting Me Again

life-computer-simulationEven though I am pretty open about my atheism to everyone except maybe the people at my part-time job, I still sometimes feel like I live two lives. I have one life with my wife, kids, family, and friends, and another life online. Well, real life is distracting me from my online life again.

My online life is pretty much my blogging, social networking, and my many friends from far away who I have gotten to know virtually. I have been trying to make an effort to write on Skeptic Ink about every other day, but lately I have been slipping. I also try to write for Examiner about once a week, but I have been slipping there too.

Some of the distractions have been online distractions in that I have been promoting the Skeptic Ink book and working slowly on one of my many solo book projects. Also, the PhillyCoR Unity Picnic is coming up and that has taken a great deal of planning on my part.

Mostly though, it’s the summer and the kids are running around and doing their best to drive me crazy. It seems that the more I am on the computer or the phone the crazier they act. So I have been spending less time on the computer and phone in order to save what little sanity I have left.

So I apologize for the minimized content and I hope to get back to writing more posts on my various platforms soon. Thank you all in advance for your patience and your continued support.
