There isn’t actually a Satan (as most Satanists already know) but if there were one, he would surely know better than to affiliate with Ted Cruz. The Satanic Temple is predictably mortified:

And who can blame them, really? Cruz is what happens when you take the teachings of the New Testament and strip out all the empathetic impulses and noble moral ideals which Jefferson kept in. Christians shouldn’t claim him, much less the more ethical Satanists.
