Teh Jesus didn’t specifically mention condoms anywhere in the Gospels, but he did (purportedly) say, ”
18] And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

That’s pretty awesome (not to mention preposterous)! St. Peter was given the authority to determine the moral rules of Heaven. Catholic doctrine claims that this power passes from Peter to his successors, the popes. Schism have occured, and wars have been fought over these things.
