Jazz pianist and bandleader Dave Brubeck has died.
Brubeck’s beloved Time Out!, featuring Paul Desmond on saxophone, is one of the most enduring jazz albums of all. It’s complex music that is nevertheless accessible, and it swings. Brubeck was more than just this album, and what’s more, he brought an individual voice to jazz piano.
Thanks for the music, Dave. It made our world a better place to live.
